East River Apartment

This renovation combines two adjacent apartments to create an expansive space overlooking the East River. An enfilade of rooms was created to organize the interior spaces. New columns were added and existing ones extended—creating a grid that parallels that of the exterior mullion system. The deep piers at the window reflect of light into the room; along with bronze and sycamore radiator cabinets, these anchor the open, loft-like space of the rooms.
