In 2018, master planners Speck & Associates drew up the Elkhart River District Implementation Plan to revitalize the city's downtown neighborhood. This is the first building to be constructed as part of Phase One of that Master Plan. We designed this 46,290-SF office building with a modern industrial vernacular to convey its importance as the anchor to the neighborhood. Built by DJ Construction, and developed by Dave Weaver of weIMPACT (who moved their headquarters here) The Riverbend Building is also home to a restaurant with a rooftop terrace, and the offices of Lake City Bank.
